2025 Le Mans 24 Hours and Le Mans Classic
Tickets for the 2025 Le Mans 24 Hours and the Le Mans Classic 2025 are now also on sale. The 24 Hours of Le Mans will be held from 14 to 16 June 2025. The Le Mans Classic will be held from 12 to 13 July 2025.
The Le Mans Classic is a biennial event for classic cars. The race is open to cars that have competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the past. The race is 24 hours long and is won by the team that covers the most distance in that time.
Electric-Hydrogen Prototypes at Le Mans
The Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO) has announced a new programme to create a class for prototypes with an electric-hydrogen powertrain at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The programme is called the MissionH24 and it will start in 2024.
The MissionH24 programme is a collaboration between the ACO, the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and GreenGT. The programme will develop a new class of prototype cars that will be powered by an electric-hydrogen powertrain. The cars will be able to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and other endurance races.
