Italy kicked off their UEFA Nations League campaign with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Hungary in Cesena on Tuesday, with Giacomo Raspadori continuing his fine goalscoring form for the Azzurri by netting the third fastest goal in the history of the competition.

The Paris Saint-Germain forward, who has now scored 10 goals in 17 appearances for his country, fired Italy into an early lead after just 10.6 seconds, the third fastest goal in the history of the UEFA Nations League.

That goal was the quickest scored by an Italian player for his country since Filippo Inzaghi netted against Ukraine in October 2003 after just 12 seconds.

The goal stunned Hungary, who had started the match brightly, and gave Italy the perfect start to the game.
